Rainbow Coalition: Wike, Chinda meet Fubara

On Tuesday, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and members of the Rainbow Coalition met with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the governor's residence in Port Harcourt. Additionally, the candidate for the governorship position of the All Progressives Congress, Kingsley Chinda, and Senator Magnus Abe were present.

Although the meeting's purpose remained unclear at the time, it marked the first time Wike had visited Fubara since the recent political crisis in the state. Peace had been restored, and a reconciliation committee led by Senator Abe had met with Fubara twice to discuss integrating the governor's supporters into the new political arrangement.

Meanwhile, Fubara declared that he had reconnected with his political family during a public event in Port Harcourt.
