N’Assembly remains hope of ordinary Nigerians – Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio emphasized the importance of the National Assembly as a bridge connecting the hopes and aspirations of ordinary Nigerians to government decisions during his address at the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Arusha, Tanzania. He highlighted inclusion, trust, and opportunity as the pillars of a democratic system that delivers tangible benefits to citizens, stressing that the success of democracy should be measured by its impact on the daily lives of Nigerians rather than just elections or economic statistics.
