For a while, I swore by Bissell’s Little Green carpet cleaner. I liked the sub-$100 price, the fact that it was small enough to fit on a closet shelf, and that it does a good job of cleaning up little messes. I'm inferring that the cats were reacting negatively to the powerful Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus carpet cleaner arriving in their home. The large upright machine, priced at $209.99 during Amazon Prime Day, is a significant upgrade from the smaller, more budget-friendly Little Green model. This new carpet cleaner boasts powerful brushes, large reservoirs for dirty water and cleaning solution, and a convenient accessory port for spot cleaning.
While the Little Green requires manual scrubbing, the ProHeat 2X handles the scrubbing itself, making it ideal for big jobs. However, the high cost of replacement cleaning solution, around $23 for a large bottle, is a downside after using it for extensive cleaning. It seems my feline companions are not particularly fond of this impressive piece of cleaning equipment.
