A retired medical officer from KEM Hospital has been duped of Rs 4 lakh in a cyber fraud involving a fake Bank of Maharashtra pension card, according to police in Mumbai. The Vikhroli police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the alleged scam. The victim, Dr Shashikant Sahadev Shinde, received a call from an unknown number claiming to be from Bank of Maharashtra.
