Mahmud Kabore picks forms to contest NDC Ashanti Communications Officer position

Mahmud Kabore has officially submitted nomination papers to vie for the Ashanti Regional Communication Officer position within the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC). The aspiring candidate stated that his campaign aims to bolster the party's communication infrastructure in the region and ensure that communicators receive prompt and precise information to disseminate the NDC's message effectively.

Speaking to the Kumasi Mail after obtaining his forms, Kabore recounted his political journey, which spanned from grassroots to national communication structures within the NDC. He highlighted his experience as acting branch secretary at Asuboasu L/A Primary School in the Sekyere Afram Plains area, following the passing of the substantive secretary.

"I have traversed the grassroots level to the constituency level and served as a communication member at both regional and national levels," Kabore expressed. Kabore emphasized that his experience collaborating with various communication directors over the years has provided him with a profound understanding of the challenges facing the NDC's communication structures.

He is now poised to assume greater responsibilities and leverage his expertise to fortify the Ashanti Regional Communications Team. Kabore declared that if elected, he would collaborate with party stakeholders to unify communicators, enhance the region's communication structures, and guarantee the NDC's message reaches the public effectively.

Additionally, he pledged to build upon the accomplishments of previous communication teams instead of dismantling their established frameworks. "In the Ashanti Region, I intend to construct upon their prior achievements for the party," Kabore assured. He further committed to working alongside national and regional communication leadership to strengthen the party's communication endeavors in preparation for the 2028 general election and beyond.
