Lions' Dan Campbell shares 1 thing he most wants to see from defense vs Cardinals
Dan Campbell shared the one thing he most wants to see from his Detroit Lions defense at the Arizona Cardinals.
The Lions' defensive coordinator Dan Campbell discussed the defensive shortcomings that led to their 32-26 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football. Campbell emphasized the importance of discipline and players being where they are supposed to be on defense. The Lions' defense is currently ranked last in the NFL in both passing defense and total defense.
Campbell acknowledged that there are trust issues within the defense and that the team needs to get back to the basics of doing their individual jobs. He also mentioned that the defense is a work in progress and that the coaching staff will make some adjustments, including giving new players an opportunity. The Lions will face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox.
