Inter Milan is considering replacement options for Hakan Calhanoglu and other high-profile players, according to TuttoSport. The Italian club is also eyeing veteran additions such as Adrian Bernabé, Frank Anguissa, and Mateo Kovacic. Calhanoglu, who has been plagued by injuries and inconsistent performances, could potentially join Inter at a lower salary with performance-based add-ons.
Bernabé, who previously played under Christian Chivu at Barcelona and Manchester City, has 146 appearances, 19 goals, and 12 assists for Inter. Anguissa, currently at Napoli, is likely to leave for free. Kovacic, who had a stint at Inter between 2012 and 2015, may also depart Manchester City. The final decision on the Calhanoglu situation remains to be seen, as the club weighs the potential benefits of a cheaper option against the possibility of attracting a higher-priced player.
