As Bangkok's floodwaters recede, Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) persists in its "GULF Care" mission, providing 1 million baht worth of recovery supplies to help affected communities rebuild. Representing the company at the donation handover was Mr. Sitamon Ratanavadi, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, GULF, while Bangkok Governor Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt received the donation at the Department of Drainage and Sewerage, Bangkok City Hall 2.
Governor Sittipunt stated that while the flood situation eases in many parts of Bangkok, water levels remain high and the city remains fragile, especially in the eastern areas where water continues to accumulate. The mission of "GULF Care" is to speed up recovery by mobilizing manpower and machinery from unaffected districts to restore the city quickly, including collecting garbage, cleaning, repairing roads, and providing healthcare for residents in affected areas.
GULF Volunteers, or "GULF Asa," prepared 650 relief kits and 6,000 bottles of drinking water, and provided 16,000 freshly prepared meals to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for distribution. The company has also distributed over 15,000 additional relief kits to assist people impacted by flooding in 16 provinces across Thailand.
GULF remains committed to supporting Thai people in every situation, ensuring assistance reaches communities in a timely manner.
