FIR against Rahul, Priyanka for entering Akashvani Bhawan without permission
The development came a day after at least 300 Opposition lawmakers marched from Parliament towards Nirvachan Sadan, demanding CEC Kumar’s resignation
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi was seen climbing a gate at Delhi's Kingsway Camp after being detained during a protest near the Election Commission headquarters. The video of her climbing the gate has garnered attention on social media, with users praising her fitness and determination. The protest was held against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, who is facing demands for his resignation.
The Opposition party, led by Rahul Gandhi, is also protesting a controversial revision of electoral rolls, alleging that it has unfairly removed over 130 million names, which they claim benefits the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. The Election Commission denied any meeting request from the opposition parties and rejected the proposed venue and manner of request.
