F.B.I. Director Kash Patel Engaged to Country Singer Girlfriend Alexis Wilkins: ‘Went and Got the Law Involved’
The couple have been dating since 2023.
F.B.I. Director Kash Patel proposed to his country singer girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, over the weekend. Wilkins shared the news on Instagram, playfully mentioning that they had "gone and got the law involved 💍❤️." The couple met at a party in fall 2022, with Patel complimenting Wilkins' jacket at a country singer John Rich's Nashville home.
Wilkins, 27, and Patel, 46, are now engaged. Wilkins, who has been a recording artist since 2007, has not released a full-length album but has released a 2023 EP called Grit. Her relationship with Patel has been under scrutiny due to claims that he used taxpayer funds for his trips to see her perform and for date nights, as well as for security details provided by the F.B.I. for Wilkins during her gigs, personal appearances, and errands.
