Former students of former vice principal Isa Muyiwa Adeshina are mourning the loss of the NAF officer who died in a plane crash in Ondo State. Adeshina, a Physics and Mathematics teacher at As-Siraat Comprehensive College in Lagos between 2004 and 2010, rose through the ranks to become a Vice Principal and later joined the Nigerian Air Force.
He was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos when the aircraft, registration NAF 931, crashed, killing all 25 people on board. Adeshina's school principal, Ustadh Ahmad, praised his dedication and intelligence, noting that parents were so upset when he left for the Air Force program that they pleaded to keep him. Adeshina's former students are remembering him through social media tributes, with one former student crediting Adeshina for inspiring him to remain consistent in his Salah.
