Cowboys point/counterpoint: Still looking for answers against the Buccaneers
The Cowboys have a golden opportunity to string together wins
The Dallas Cowboys secured a 34-30 victory over the Houston Texans in a Thursday Night Football game, despite several shortcomings. Defensive issues and a lackluster run offense outside of the red zone raised concerns for the team. Ahead of their matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two analysts, Tom and Sean, shared their perspectives on the win.
Tom highlighted the importance of the win for the Cowboys' NFC East standings, while warning that the team still needs significant improvements. Sean agreed, but emphasized the need for consistency in play-calling and trust in head coach Bill Schottenheimer. Both agreed that while a win over a winless team was valuable, the Cowboys face more formidable opponents in the near future.
