Alakija, Okoli urge women to create value, make impact

Businesswoman Apostle Folorunso Alakija and Dr Stella Okoli, founder of Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries, have urged Nigerian women to move beyond merely having a voice to actively leading transformation in society. Alakija emphasized that a voice can carry solutions, businesses and wisdom, but it remains trapped if not utilized.

She stressed that women must progress from capacity to influence and ultimately to impact, urging them to use their success to address social problems, mentor younger women and provide solutions to communities. Dr Okoli echoed similar sentiments, highlighting that a voice becomes truly powerful when it creates value, builds businesses, employs people, solves national problems and leaves a legacy for the next generation.
