Acclaimed British comedy series ‘Small Prophets’ now available on Apple TV

On August 2023, the British comedy series “Small Prophets” became available for streaming on Apple TV, following its premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two in the UK. The series was created, written, and directed by Mackenzie Crook, who also stars in the show alongside Pearce Quigley, Lauren Patel, Sir Michael Palin, Sophie Willan, Jon Pointing, and Paul Kaye.

The show follows the story of Michael Sleep, an eccentric man living an ordinary life since his lover Clea disappeared seven years ago. With the help of his young coworker Kacey and an unlikely friendship that blossoms, Michael decides to create magical spirits called homunculi to predict the future and find out if he will see Clea again.

The series was Apple TV's first acquisition of an existing English-language series that had already aired elsewhere. It will run every Wednesday through November 4, 2023, except in the UK, where it will debut on the service in 2027. The series can be watched on Apple TV for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle.
