Viral injury happened 5 years ago – Nana Akua Addo’s husband denies assault

Harold Duodu Norman, husband of actress and fashion influencer Nana Akua Addo, has denied allegations of assault after viral videos and photos showed an injury to his wife's lip. The lawyers for Norman stated that the incident occurred in 2021 and has resurfaced due to ongoing legal proceedings. According to their account, the altercation happened when Norman returned from an event and confronted Nana Akua Addo over alleged infidelity.

Nana Akua Addo reportedly attempted to stab him with a knife, prompting Norman to use a wooden dressing mirror to shield himself. The mirror broke, and a piece struck Nana Akua Addo on the lip, causing the injury seen in the circulating material. Norman's lawyers deny the claim that he assaulted his wife, stating that the injury resulted from the mirror breaking.

They also note that Norman took her to the hospital immediately following the incident for treatment. The lawyers question why the videos and photos resurfaced years later and accuse the couple's legal dispute of being used to sway public opinion. They have also alleged other instances of domestic conflict within their marriage, urging media organizations to exercise caution in reporting the matter.
