First up, those in love with Spider-Man will want to check out the latest addition to Tom Holland's solo film run on Tubi. "Spider-Man: Homecoming," directed by Jon Watts, brings back the beloved hero in a delightful remix of his classic origin story. Following Peter Parker's time at the top after "Captain America: Civil War," the 2017 Marvel movie takes us back to his high school days, showcasing intimate, street-level villainy. With Tom Holland's charismatic performance, this film is a must-watch for any Spidey fan.
If you're on the hunt for a horror movie to tide you over until spooky season, "Midsommar" is the perfect choice. A24's 2019 horror-comedy, directed by Ari Aster, delivers a sun-soaked nightmare set in a remote Swedish village's midsummer festival. Starring Florence Pugh in a phenomenal performance as grieving college student Dani, "Midsommar" is a deeply unsettling, but oddly funny, film that explores the cult-like local community's sinister intentions. Be prepared for a runtime of about 2.5 hours and fully immerse yourself – you'll be glad you did.
