The 2026 Bluebird Banter Haiku Contest is currently underway, with voting open to determine the winner and backup poet laureate. A total of 10 haikus were submitted and narrowed down to two polls due to a limit on Feed polls. Each haiku was crafted by a different participant, with themes ranging from baseball action to AI concerns. The winner of the polls will be crowned the official poet laureate, while the second-place haiku will assume backup poet laureate duties in case the winner becomes incapacitated.
