The 13 Amazon Device Deals Actually Worth Snagging This Prime Day
Prime Day deals on Amazon devices aren’t as attractive as they were before the August price hike, but these discounts are still worth grabbing.
Prime Day has seen Amazon raise prices across its device categories, making it more difficult to find genuine discounts. However, there are still some Amazon device deals worth snagging this Prime Day. Here's a breakdown of the best options.
The cheapest Amazon Echo is the Echo Dot (5th Gen) for $40, which is $40 off. For a better version of the favorite Kindle e-reader, the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is priced at $170, offering $80 off. A color Kindle option, the Kindle Color, is available for $190, discounting $100 off.
For Amazon Alexa speakers, the Echo Spot is on sale at $55, a $55 discount. If you're set on getting an Alexa-powered speaker, these discounts make them worth considering.
In the Kindle department, all older 2024 line Kindles are on sale, making it a great time to purchase. New Kindles have recently been announced, but they won't be on sale during this event. The recommendations are for the best discounts off the new prices rather than the old prices.
The best Fire TV deals include the Best Amazon Eero Deals, with versions of Amazon's Eero mesh system on sale. Other options include the Amazon Echo Dot Max, Echo Show 8 (4th Gen), Echo Show 15, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Kindle Paperwhite Kids, Kindle Kids, and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. Each of these devices offers a significant discount, although some come with a trade-off in terms of features or price.
