The Nigerian Super Eagles staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 3-3 draw against Russia in an international friendly at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Despite trailing 3-1 at halftime, the team managed to reduce the deficit to 3-3 with goals from Peter Edokpolor and Akor Adams in stoppage time. This result marks Nigeria's first unbeaten match against Russia since their 1-1 draw in Moscow in June 2025, and provides a positive end to a challenging international window for the Super Eagles.
