Dancehall artist Shatta Wale threatened to physically assault his DJ during a tense situation at his ShattaFest concert in Ho. This incident took place on October 3, 2026, at the Youth Resource Centre in Ho, during the annual event organized in collaboration with Momofest. Videos circulating online depict Shatta Wale confronting DJ Alinko after the DJ allegedly switched songs mid-performance.
Clearly agitated by the interruption, the musician questioned the DJ's actions and delivered a stern warning. "You think we are playing here. I will slap you," Shatta Wale declared. The event's head of security, Abonko, is seen on stage indicating that DJ Alinko had already received a warning about the issue. Despite the brief confrontation, Shatta Wale continued his performance and entertained fans at the second edition of ShattaFest in the Volta Regional capital.
Other performances at the event included contributions from Volta-based musician Chief One, DGL Academy, and DWP Academy.
