SB Nation Reacts: What is Eli Drinkwitz’s best win at Mizzou?
Beating Florida by 28 points was special. But was it the best win of the Drinkwitz era?
Columbia, Missouri - October 3, 2026: Missouri Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz discussed with offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner before a game at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium. The victory over Florida was met with speculation about whether it was Drinkwitz's best win during his tenure at Mizzou. With the adrenaline wearing off, the game is starting to feel like the summit of a mountain, but could it be the peak of all his accomplishments?
The past few years have seen contenders such as the 2020 win against LSU, the 2022 win against South Carolina, and the 2023 and 2024 victories, including the Ohio State bowl game. However, the 45-17 demolition of Florida on Homecoming stands out as a special moment.
