Doha, Qatar - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index surged 100 points, or 1.08%, to close at 9,285.05 points on Monday, following a 1.08% increase in the market capitalization to QR563.038bn. All seven sectors of the QSE ended in the green zone, with banking and financial services, industrials, transportation, real estate, insurance, telecom, and consumer goods and services indices gaining 1.15%, 0.37%, 1.67%, 1.57%, 0.45%, 1.23%, and 1.11% respectively.
