OKX Launches OKX Money, Unlocking a New Era of Digital Dollar Savings and Everyday Spending

OKX, a global cryptocurrency exchange and onchain technology company, has launched OKX Money, an app for saving, sending, and spending digital dollars. Available globally as of October 6, the app enables users to earn interest on USDG balances, spend without foreign exchange fees, and receive cashback. Customers can fund their accounts with over 50 local currencies, which are then converted into dollar-backed stablecoins.

Initially launched in Latin America, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, OKX Money aims to make savings and global transactions more accessible and cost-effective. Key features include dollar-denominated savings, instant, zero-fee cross-border payments, up to 10% APY on eligible balances, and up to 10% cashback on eligible purchases.
