LaLiga: Mbappe disobeys Mourinho’s order amid injury issues

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has defied his manager Jose Mourinho's directive by engaging in a cycling activity. Just a few days prior, Mourinho had emphasized on the Bet It Drives show that football players should abstain from cycling due to the inherent injury risks. "You are a football player 24 hours a day," Mourinho had asserted.

"Everything reflects the job. What you eat, what you drink, how you sleep, even things in your private life. You cannot ski. You cannot ride a bike." He elaborated, "You fall off your bike and you don’t play three matches maybe, or maybe worse, maybe you break a leg … There are a lot of things you have to give up to be a football player."

However, contrary to Mourinho's stance, Mbappe took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of himself cycling, appearing jovial with a protective helmet on. The real Madrid forward is presently sidelined after sustaining a left knee hyperextension during France's match against Türkiye on September 25. Mbappe was subsequently dropped from the national team's lineup.
