Laide Bakare cries out over alleged maltreatment of her children with ex-husband [VIDEO]

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has expressed her concerns over the safety and well-being of her children with her ex-husband, Mutairu Atanda Orilowo. According to DAILY POST, the couple got married in 2013 and had two sons together after their divorce from her first husband, Olumide Kunfulire, in 2012. In an Instagram video, Laide Bakare accused Orilowo's wife of mistreating her children, who are currently in his custody.

She captioned the video, "this is a difficult call. However, at this point every necessary step needs to be taken. And valuable intercession sought. All I want is my children's safety." Laide Bakare revealed that her ex-husband has refused the children to be with her, causing her distress as they are not with her. She shared that she was recently on the phone with her children during an argument between Orilowo and his wife, and heard his wife telling one of their children to strangle the other children's necks instead of beating them.

Laide Bakare urged the public to assist her in securing custody of her children and mentioned that she had recorded her wife's voice while she was maltreating the children, but did not specify the content of the recording or the method used to capture it.
