Incheon Metropolitan City will join the 2026 KOREA Business Expo SHENZHEN, taking place from October 8 to 11, as part of the 30th World Korean Economic Convention held in Shenzhen, China. The primary objective of this participation is to assist in the global market expansion of promising Incheon companies. The city will set up the Incheon Corporate Joint Pavilion alongside Incheon Technopark and the Food Industry Promotion Support Center.

A total of 25 local companies will participate in the joint pavilion, comprising 10 companies from the beauty sector, 10 from the general sector, and 5 from the food sector. These companies will showcase their exceptional products and technological capabilities at this event, which is organized by the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (World-OKTA).

The World-OKTA event is a significant platform for economic exchange, where domestic and foreign companies, local governments, and relevant organizations convene.

This year, 400 companies are expected to set up booths, with a total of approximately 6,000 visitors attending, including 300 local buyers and around 1,000 World-OKTA member buyers. Incheon Metropolitan City aims to enhance local brand recognition by organizing the exhibition around the popular K-beauty and K-food industries. Alongside business consultations, the city will conduct promotional activities to announce the 2025-2026 Visit Incheon Year for Overseas Koreans.

Kim Young-shin, Director General of the International Cooperation Bureau of Incheon Metropolitan City, stated, "This convention is an opportunity to engrave the excellence of Incheon companies upon overseas Korean businesspeople and achieve practical results." She further added, "We will spare no support so that participating companies can diversify their overseas sales channels."
