Google sounds really excited about ‘massive’ feature update hitting Pixel Buds right now
And honestly — we're feeling pretty excited about it, too!
Google is buzzing about an impressive update for its Pixel Buds, Pro 2, and Buds 2a. The latest enhancements include Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation, which was unveiled alongside the Pixel 11 launch. Alongside this, the update brings improvements to Live Translate, voice control, and sleep detection across all three models. While new hardware may generate excitement, Google has managed to keep users enthralled with software upgrades.
Despite not releasing a brand-new Pixel Buds device alongside the Pixel 11 earlier this year, Google has already updated the Pixel Buds Pro 2 with a new color and, more significantly, improved ANC performance. The company has now revealed a "massive" update that will benefit not only the Pro 2 but also the Pixel Buds 2a and the original Buds Pro.
This update, version 6.144 for Pixel Buds, focuses on the ANC upgrade announced at the Pixel 11 launch. Notably, the update is tailored for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, adapting audio and ANC settings dynamically based on how securely the earbuds fit within an individual's ears.
