Geekom just handed us an $80 Prime Day promo code for the 'extremely powerful' A8 Max — our hardware editor's favorite Windows mini PC
Geekom's A8 Max scored 4.5 stars in our tests, and our hardware editor loves this mini PC. And Geekom handed us a code for a Prime Day discount, which is nice.
Geekom is offering a $80 discount on the A8 Max mini PC for Prime Day, bringing its price to $719 from the usual $799 on Amazon. The Geekom A8 Max is one of the best mini PCs tested by our hardware editor, thanks to its powerful eight-core Ryzen processor. It's perfect for office work, light video editing, photo editing, and other creative tasks.
The mini PC boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS with Radeon 780M graphics, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD that can be expanded later. Our hardware editor particularly liked the fast USB4 port, which allows for future upgrades like connecting an external graphics card. The A8 Max earned a 4.5-star rating in our review and holds a TechRadar Pro Highly Recommended badge.
While it's not the cheapest option, it's a great value at this price, especially considering the possibility of further upgrades. The Prime Day deal is perfect for creators, power users, and anyone looking for a compact yet high-performance desktop to handle various tasks.
