Dubai Ride 2026 guide: Date, registration, bib collection and more

Dubai Ride 2026 registration is now open for the city's largest community cycling event, a key highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. The free-to-attend race will take place on November 1, covering the 14-lane Sheikh Zayed Road. The challenge, launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, aims to promote a healthier lifestyle by encouraging people to exercise for at least 30 minutes daily for 30 consecutive days.

Last year, Dubai Ride drew a record 40,327 participants, and organizers anticipate even higher numbers this year.

The event offers two routes - a 4km Downtown family route and a 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route. The 4km route is a flat path suitable for all ages and abilities, following Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and passing landmarks like Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa. The 12km route is more challenging, running from Dubai World Trade Centre through the Museum of the Future, Coca-Cola Arena, to Safa Park, including a climb over Dubai Canal Bridge. People of determination also have a dedicated starting area.

Participants are advised to arrive between 4am and 6am at one of five starting points for the Sheikh Zayed Road route or one for the Downtown family route. Gates close at 7.30am, and all roads reopen for traffic at 8.15am. Participants must bring their own bikes and wear helmets; e-bikes are allowed but scooters are not. Bibs, numbered for identification, can be collected from the Dubai Municipality 30 x 30 Fitness Village at Zabeel Park between October 28-31. Participants must bring their registration QR codes for bib collection.
