Dani Carvajal nears free transfer move to Getafe
Former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal is close to joining Getafe on a free transfer, with talks ongoing for the 34-year-old right-back.
Getafe CF president Ángel Torres announced that the signing of Spanish full-back Dani Carvajal is underway, following a successful medical examination. The club's chief revealed that Carvajal has cleared all medical checks, with the only remaining hurdle being approval from LALIGA and finalizing an agreement with the league. Torres explained that Carvajal's arrival is in response to the coach's demands, as the Spanish international was urgently requested to bolster the team's defense.
Once the final administrative steps are taken care of, Carvajal will join the ranks at the Coliseum, sporting the club's colors.
