The NBA's Los Angeles Lakers are unlikely to include young forward Dalton Knecht on their regular-season roster, according to reports. The team currently has 16 guaranteed contracts and can only carry 15 players, leaving Knecht out of the picture. Green, a Golden State Warriors star, pointed to Knecht's representatives as the reason for his struggles in Los Angeles.

Despite showing promise, Knecht was outplayed by fellow prospects Bronny James and Jaden Hardy during training camp. The voided trade that would have sent Knecht to the New Orleans Hornets and brought Mark Williams to the Lakers appears to have damaged his situation further. Knecht's agent should have worked to get him out of Los Angeles after the trade fell through, according to Green.
