The Blackstar Experience is set to host a two-day fashion event in November 2026, known as the 'Blackstar Fashion Week'. This event will take place in two locations: Accra and Akosombo. The summit will be held on November 4th at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, while the Presidential Runway will be staged at Royal Senchi in Akosombo on November 7th.

The initiative, announced on October 5th by Rex Owusu Marfo, the Co-ordinator of the Blackstar Experience, aims to showcase Ghanaian fashion on a global platform. Rex noted that while he is not a fashion expert, a steering committee of industry professionals will guide the event. In addition to the summit and runway, the organizers plan to offer various activities such as hiking and quad biking on the morning of the runway to promote Akosombo and Senchi as tourism destinations.

Attendees who book their stays through the Blackstar Experience will receive discounted rates. The summit's theme, 'Put Ghana On', emphasizes the importance of promoting Ghanaian fashion both locally and internationally.
