A 25-year-old gym trainer, B K Nandan, died after being assaulted by three colleagues at an apartment in Kempapura, near Hebbal, in Bengaluru on Sunday night. The incident occurred during a gathering at Anush's residence following the gym's first anniversary celebrations and award ceremony on Saturday. Police allege that the three men, K R Vishwa, N K Sharath, and B B Nishanth, had a financial dispute with Nandan, which escalated into the attack.
Nandan's colleagues claimed they were training a person named Anush at the time. After the gym event, Nandan and his colleagues went to Anush's apartment for a party. The three accused have been detained and confessed to the financial enmity with Nandan. The police are examining CCTV footage and other technical evidence to establish the events leading up to the assault.
