Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has expressed his constant thoughts about President Bola Tinubu's re-election during his recent town hall meetings in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. Wike urged residents to support Tinubu, citing his recognition of the people of Rivers State through appointments and developmental projects.
He urged residents to set aside political sentiments and vote for Tinubu, predicting that Tinubu's re-election in 2027 would be easier than in 2023. Wike also criticized opposition figures, questioning the strength of the African Democratic Congress ticket and describing Peter Obi and other opposition politicians as "unelectable".
He urged his supporters to avoid internal disputes and communal disagreements that could hinder their political activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
