2027: Atiku a typical politician, only thinks of winning election – Tinubu’s aide

President Bola Tinubu's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has accused the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of being a typical politician solely focused on winning elections. In a post on X, Ajayi contrasted Atiku's approach with that of Tinubu, whom he described as someone thinking about the long-term sustainability and development of Nigeria.

Ajayi alleged that Atiku and his running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, are attempting to undo the progress made by Tinubu through their "misdirected populism." He emphasized that every day, Tinubu's reforms are yielding tangible and visible benefits to the economy, which the world can observe.

According to Ajayi, a statesman like Tinubu is guided by the long-term sustainability and development of the country, while a politician like Atiku is always preoccupied with winning elections by any means necessary. He noted that Nigeria's fiscal strength and economic performance have significantly improved since Tinubu assumed office in 2023.
