World : US Air Force Removes All Bombers From British Air Base Targeted By A Suspected Terror Attack
WASHINGTON, Oct 5 (Bernama-AP) -- The US Air Force has brought home its bombers stationed at a US-run military air base in England used to strike Iran following an investigation into a planned terror attack at the RAF Fairford base, the Associated Press (AP) reported.
The United States has withdrawn all B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK, following the arrest of five men suspected of plotting a terrorist attack. This move comes after aviation experts claimed the US bombers were vulnerable to drone attacks due to their open location and proximity to public areas. While the UK Prime Minister has indicated strong indications of Iranian involvement, Iran has denied any involvement in the alleged plot.
