‘Why are you afraid of women?’ Rahul Gandhi trains guns on Amit Shah over alleged Delhi Police misconduct
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that women protesters and female journalists were mistreated during recent incidents in Delhi and demanded that CCTV footage from Saket police station be made public and action be taken against officers found responsible.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of being "afraid of women" after alleged misconduct by Delhi Police during recent incidents in the national capital. On social media, Rahul Gandhi alleged that women protesters and journalists faced mistreatment by the Delhi Police during protests at Jantar Mantar and Saket police station.
He claimed that several people were detained, cameras were stolen from female journalists, and some journalists were dragged during the incidents. Rahul Gandhi also alleged that an independent journalist, covering the protests, was allegedly sexually assaulted by ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalist alleged that Bhagat groped and pushed her while covering the detention of AISA activist Neha Bora at Jantar Mantar.
Rahul Gandhi demanded accountability from authorities, including the release of CCTV footage from the Saket police station and immediate action against any guilty police officers.
