Titans coach Robert Saleh says QB Cam Ward had best game of season vs Ravens
Titans coach Robert Saleh said quarterback Cam Ward played his best game of the season during a loss against the Ravens on October 4.
The Tennessee Titans' first-year coach, Robert Saleh, expressed confidence in quarterback Cam Ward after the latter's recent performance against the Baltimore Ravens. Ward started off his best game of the season with a 24-18 road loss on October 4. He completed 64.5% of his pass attempts, a higher completion rate and number of completions than he's recorded this season.
Ward also threw a touchdown, tied his season-best for three times, and ran for an additional 27 yards on four carries. However, he still committed an interception, which proved costly as the Titans trailed 7-0 just 2 minutes into the game. Saleh praised Ward's progress, stating that he's becoming more comfortable in the pocket and getting better every day.
Despite the losses, Saleh remains committed to the process and believes that the Titans can turn their fortunes around.
