On Monday morning, "The View" co-host Ana Navarro took on North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis directly during his appearance on the ABC talk show to promote his new book, "How to Lose Friends and Antagonize Presidents: The Trouble with Sycophants, Courage Outsourcing, and Partisan Group Think." The hosts questioned Tillis about several voting records, including his support for Pete Hegseth, who has been openly criticized by Tillis as unqualified.
Navarro expressed her disappointment with Tillis's inconsistency in his book, where he criticized others for being unqualified but still voted for them. She accused Tillis of "voting for people you regretted" and insisted, "You keep doing it, Thom!" In response, Tillis defended the confirmation of Todd Blanche, a candidate he had previously objected to due to his involvement in a January 6th reparations fund investigation.
Navarro dismissed this support, noting Blanche's connections to Russian oligarchs and his unwillingness to push back against Donald Trump, and questioned his commitment to giving honest feedback to the president.
