The Dodgers outsmarted themselves
The Dodgers trade an overwhelming advantage to Atlanta for a cost to be paid later.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have outsmarted themselves in their National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves. While initially appearing to have a commanding 2-0 lead, the team's poor performance in Game 2 against the Braves has now turned the series into a dogfight. This unexpected turn of events comes as a result of several issues plaguing the Dodgers, including underwhelming performances from their starting pitchers and a lack of run production.
The team's reliance on heroics and home runs has also been a major concern, as they have only scored by home run in this series. With issues persisting, it seems that the Dodgers are in danger of falling flat on their face just as they had previously.
