Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl" is one of her biggest albums on the Billboard 200, but falls short of her personal best chart record.
Taylor Swift s The Life of a Showgirl has maintained a steadfast hold on the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 for an impressive 13 weeks, making it her second-longest reign atop the chart. Only the album Fearless and the record-breaking 1989 have surpassed its duration at the top. Swift s previous longest stay at No. 1 is held by her album The Tortured Poets Department, which stayed at the top for 17 weeks.
Swift s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, not only shattered the record for the biggest debut sales week ever but also continued to generate sales and streams in the US for several months post-release. Following seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Showgirl returned for an additional five weeks atop the all-genre album chart, outperforming both Fearless and 1989 as Swift s second-longest reign.
Here is a rundown of Swift s other 16 studio albums ranked by their Billboard 200 performances.
