Ray Michael Djan Jr puts Ghanaian creativity on global stage with Chelsea anthem

Ghanaian music producer Ray Michael Djan Jr has collaborated on Chelsea FC's new anthem "Can't Tame Us" alongside King Promise. The song, produced by Ray's London-based SW6 Studios, aims to bring Ghanaian culture to the global stage. Ray views the collaboration as a chance to showcase Ghanaian talent and connect with the club's growing fanbase in Ghana, particularly through the legacy of former midfielder Michael Essien.

The project began through discussions between Ray, King Promise, and Chelsea, with Ray expressing excitement about incorporating an Afrobeats influence into the anthem. Ray's work with the club extends beyond this anthem, as he also supports the Blue Creator Collective, which provides young creatives opportunities to develop their skills.

Ray, a lifelong Chelsea fan, believes the collaboration will inspire more partnerships between Ghanaian creatives and international brands, football clubs, film studios, and entertainment companies.
