Raiders’ Maxx Crosby shares ‘tough’ admission about loss to Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs

The Las Vegas Raiders suffered their inaugural defeat of the season, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 30-27 at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. This marked the Raiders' record at 3-1, while the Chiefs remained undefeated at 4-0. Despite putting up a valiant fight, Las Vegas was unable to contain the Chiefs' offensive prowess, which resulted in six touchdowns, two from Patrick Mahomes, two from Kenneth Walker III, and two from Tyquan Thornton.

After the game, Maxx Crosby, the Raiders' linebacker, admitted to the team's shortcomings but remained optimistic about their future performance. "We know what we're capable of," Crosby stated in a video posted by Vegas Sports Today, "I think we're figuring it out more and more. It's a tough loss. We have to bounce back. We have to figure out how to get better, how to improve from it.

It's the same mindset for all of us, whether it's a win or loss: How can we get better? How can we bounce back and get more wins?" Crosby, a two-time All-Pro, pointed out specific areas where the team fell short. He emphasized their struggles in forcing turnovers and getting crucial stops, noting that the Chiefs "dictated the tempo" with their explosive plays.

Offensively, Las Vegas struggled as well, managing only 72 rushing yards. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was less efficient than usual, completing 31 of his 52 attempts for 365 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The Raiders face the New England Patriots in Week 5.
