Promevo launches Insights to track Gemini Enterprise adoption and AI agents

Google Cloud partner Promevo LLC has introduced Insights by Promevo, a platform designed to track the adoption of Google LLC's Gemini Enterprise and the AI agents employees create using it, along with spending across the customer's Google Cloud environment. This platform aims to address what Promevo calls a visibility gap in enterprise AI adoption.

Gemini Enterprise, launched a year ago, enables staff to create agents through its no-code workbench. Traditionally, Google Cloud and Workspace consoles kept licensing and agent data on separate systems, with a limited 28-day data history. Insights by Promevo bridges this gap by consolidating these data points into a single platform with a longer record.

For Gemini Enterprise licenses, Insights separates active seats from idle ones and calculates potential savings from reclaimed idle spending. Each built agent is added to an inventory, detailing its access. This process is done without reading or storing prompt and response content.

Beyond Gemini Enterprise, the platform allows IT and finance teams to break down cloud spending by project and service, while a continuously updating asset map of the organization's environment is provided. Identity and access management data is gathered and over-permissioned users are flagged.

Promevo emphasizes that customers can trace a Gemini Enterprise license to the agent using it and the cloud resources that agent accesses. This product was developed to answer the major questions enterprises have about AI, according to Promevo CEO Karthik Kripapuri. The company's team has already seen customers with thousands of agents and expects this scale to become common.

Based in Kentucky since 1998, Promevo serves over 4,000 organizations, offering consulting services including a structured Gemini Enterprise adoption program and custom agent development. They also sell gPanel for Google Workspace administration. Enterprises that develop their own agents can list them on Google Cloud Marketplace through a Promevo program. Insights by Promevo is now available for Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise customers, with additional features rolling out in the coming weeks.
