Pakistanis Can Study in Netherlands With €20,150 Annual Undergraduate Scholarship

Maastricht University in the Netherlands has opened applications for its fully funded UM NL Global Studies Scholarship for the 2027-28 academic year. This scholarship allows Pakistani students to pursue an undergraduate degree, covering all study and living costs. The scholarship provides a €20,150 living allowance each year, plus tuition fee coverage, health insurance, visa costs, and pre-academic training.

Applications opened on 1 October 2026 and will close on 1 February 2027 at 11:59 pm CET. Eligible Pakistani nationals, who are part of the OECD's current list of countries receiving Official Development Assistance (ODA), can apply as long as they meet the university's other requirements. The scholarship covers living expenses of €1,550 per month, tuition fees, and various other allowances.

Pakistani applicants must submit a complete admission file by 10 December 2026 and meet the university's age requirement of not exceeding 35 years by 1 September 2027. The scholarship is intended for undergraduate students entering the Global Studies program and requires strong academic performance, with a minimum of 75% of the maximum possible grade.

Accepted students must also agree to act as ambassadors for Global Studies and Maastricht University, sharing their experiences during and after their studies.
