OutingFold is a pocket field guide that turns park notes into a small, offline reference you can take outside. This innovative tool utilizes AI to suggest useful excerpts from local park sources, allowing users to review the selection and add their own notes. The guide provides space for practical details, observations, cautions, and personal insights.
OutingFold ensures that the AI's suggestions are reviewed before being exported, preventing the loss of important information due to AI summarization. With no account or installation required, users can access a demo of OutingFold and even try it out with a saved response from Gemma4:12b-it-q4_K_M using excerpts from the National Park Service's Theodore Roosevelt Island page.
