Omega Has New Bond Watches Even If There Isn’t a New James Bond
With no new 007 actor named and no film in the near future, Omega has had to get creative to keep its lucrative spy watch train running.
Omega is launching a new collection of Bond-themed watches, despite the lack of a new James Bond film. Last year, the company's last official Bond tie-in, the titanium No Time to Die Seamaster, was prematurely released in 2019. With Swatch Group's net profit dropping by nearly 90% to $32 million in 2025, Omega decided to create a six-wrist Seamaster Divers collection.
The six watches, released in June, are themed around good and evil, with three bearing the "007" symbol of James Bond and three featuring the octopus-like motif of Spectre, the fictional terrorist organization in the series. The two non-limited stainless-steel editions are priced at $8,600 each, while the limited-edition numbered sets are priced at $89,800 per pair.
Unlike previous Bond collaborations, these watches are not tied to a specific film. Omega previously released a Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph "007 First Light" in May, a new 44-mm chronograph connected to the James Bond video game.
