Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus has announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will be called up for the next international break if the Manchester United midfielder decides to return to international duty. The revelation came after Portugal's 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League match on Sunday. Jesus expressed readiness to bring Ronaldo back into the fold, provided the player is willing to join Al Nassr.
Ronaldo had been notably absent from the starting lineup during Portugal's 2-1 win over Croatia, leading to his frustration. Since then, Bruno Fernandes has stepped up to the challenge, donning the armband and wearing the no.7 shirt, formerly Ronaldo's trademark.
