Lenovo’s New $30 Smartwatch Packs Large AMOLED Display and 9-Day Battery

Lenovo has introduced the Watch Fit 3, an affordable smartwatch priced at approximately $30, emphasizing fitness tracking and basic functionalities. The device flaunts a generous 1.96-inch AMOLED display measuring 410 x 502 pixels, surpassing the display size of its competitors like the Lenovo Watch S and 2024 Lenovo Watch, which feature 1.43-inch AMOLED panels.

The watch is shielded with a 2.5D curved tempered glass screen protector. Its frame is crafted from electroplated zinc alloy, and the buttons are composed of oxidized aluminum alloy. The rear cover and heart-rate sensor lens employ an IML electroplating process. The device measures 47 x 39.8 x 9.9mm, holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and is accompanied by a silicone strap.

In terms of fitness and health tracking, the Watch Fit 3 accommodates over 50 sports modes, such as running, cycling, and ball sports. Utilizing Lenovo's GOMORE sports algorithm, the watch efficiently tracks activities. Health features encompass the monitoring of resting heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep patterns. Additional health features include reminders to stand up after prolonged sitting, drink water, take medication, look into the distance, read, and travel.

The smartwatch also presents an AI simultaneous interpretation function complete with voice playback. Bluetooth calling capabilities enable users to make and receive calls directly from the watch. The device can also control music playback on a paired smartphone. Offline payments via WeChat and Alipay are supported by the Watch Fit 3.

A 390mAh lithium-polymer battery powers the smartwatch, providing up to six days of battery life under regular usage and up to nine days with minimal use. Charging completes in around 2.5 hours. The Watch Fit 3 is identified by the model number L-SWAW201. Lenovo has not disclosed availability in international markets.
