The Los Angeles Chargers are struggling, failing to win a game during their first four matches of the 2024 NFL season, a feat not seen since 2017. This has led to head coach Jim Harbaugh providing less than positive responses on matters related to his team's performance. During a postgame press conference following their Week 4 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, a reporter asked Harbaugh about the job security of his offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel.
Harbaugh initially seemed uncertain in his response, but ultimately affirmed that McDaniel's position remains secure. However, it's worth noting that Harbaugh's opinion of McDaniel has historically been very positive, as seen in his comments during a September appearance on the "Rich Eisen Show" where he praised McDaniel's intelligence and football knowledge.
